One Stop Fireplace Shop Indoor and Outdoor Lifestyles is owned and operated by Bill Sherman. Many customers know Bill as the owner of "Ashes Away Chimney Service." Ashes Away has been servicing the Durham region since 1980. Bill is a wood specialist with 30 years of experience and comes from a family of chimney sweeps and masons. His areas of expertise are in chimney liners, prefab chimneys, cleanings and Wett inspections. He is also a G2 licenced gas installer. Bill is always happy to assist customers with advice on their heating options both in the field and on site at the store in Little Britain. Tammy Sherman, Bill's wife, is the manager at One Stop Fireplace Shop. She comes from a retail background and thoroughly enjoys helping customers to identify what heating options are best for their families and homes. You can call the store and she will try to answer any questions you may have about products or to book an appointment.

In early 2010 One Stop Fireplace Shop branched into the market of Outdoor Great Rooms and Kitchens. From creating a kitchen counter space to wood pergolas, outdoor fireplaces and firepits, curtains, outdoor rugs and a full hammock line - we create the space suited to your lifestyle. This venture will be just as specialized as the hearth side of the business going forward in the near future.
