Mendota’s direct vent, sealed combustion and environmentally friendly fireplaces with the Burn Green system are designed to meet national LEED and NAHB guidelines as well as governmental EPA standards for high efficiency and low emissions.
The burners are laboratory balanced to create a log fire that duplicates as realistically as possible all the different stages of a wood fire. You can have a roaring, flame filled fire with lots of heat for those cold, winter nights or glowing embers and lazy flames like a romantic late night campfire.

Mendota’s smart thermostat feature puts full comfort within your grasp. Set the desired room temperature and the Burn Green System will adjust heat output automatically so your not only conserving energy but also enjoying even room temperature without any “spikes.”
From the comfort of your chair you can:
- Adjust the heat output to comfort level
- Turn the burners and pilot off and on
- Adjust blower air output or turn the blowers off and on
- Turn the back burner off on late nights or mild days
- Adjust the accent lighting
- Set the “smart” thermostat to control room temperature automatically
